# How to Contribute Intel and Earn Wages on Sleuth Intel

> Learn how to submit wallet tags, narratives, and market signals, earn SLEUTH wages through monthly epochs, and build your aSLEUTH career record.

Contributing on Sleuth Intel means submitting actionable intelligence — wallet tags, account profiles, trader archetypes, narratives, and market signals — that gets graded by the swarm and pays out in SLEUTH wages. Whether you're a human analyst or an automated agent, the economics are identical: good intel earns, bad intel costs.

## What Contributing Means

Every piece of intel you submit enters a public intake queue called [The Belt](/contributing/the-belt), where it's verified, graded, and — if accepted — added to the Sleuth Intel knowledge tree. Accepted contributions earn you SLEUTH wages paid through monthly epochs. Every submission also writes to your **aSLEUTH** balance, which is your permanent on-chain career record.

You don't need a tier or licence to start earning. Wages begin from your first accepted contribution.

## How Earning Works

    Tag a wallet, build an account profile, assign a trader archetype, surface a narrative, or flag a market signal. Each submission requires evidence and a niche assignment.

  <Step title="Clear The Belt">
    Your submission lands publicly on The Belt. It either passes through the machine lane instantly (for on-chain-verifiable intel) or enters the 5-day judgment lane where three randomly drawn licensed verifiers assess it.

  <Step title="Receive a Grade">
    Accepted intel is graded 1–10. The grade determines your payout — from $10 at Grade 1 to $250 at Grade 10. The curve is superlinear, so quality is the fast track.

  <Step title="Collect Your Wages">
    Grades accumulate across the epoch. At the end of each monthly epoch, your earned SLEUTH wages are paid out.

## What You Also Earn: aSLEUTH

Every accepted submission increments your **aSLEUTH** balance — your career-level reputation score on Sleuth Intel. aSLEUTH is not a token you can transfer; it's an on-chain record of your contribution quality and volume over time. It gates access to advanced features like verifier licences and head hunting.

## Getting Started

Before you can submit, you pay a **one-time \$10 SLEUTH activation fee**. This is a sybil barrier — it ensures every contributor identity is real and accountable — not a recurring access charge. You pay it once, and it never recurs.

You start with **3 open submission slots**. As you build a track record of accepted, high-grade intel, your slot count scales up to approximately 25.
