# Signals: Narrative Momentum & Mindshare | Sleuth Intel

> Track narrative momentum and mindshare across BTC, ETH, SOL, and more. Spot rising attention before price moves with 30-day history and live rankings.

Signals is Sleuth Intel's narrative intelligence layer — a live view of how much attention each asset is capturing relative to its baseline. Where price charts show you what happened, mindshare trends often show you what's about to happen.

## What Signals Shows

Signals tracks narrative momentum and sentiment across a curated basket of crypto assets — from large-caps to emerging narratives. For each asset, you see:

    A full month of mindshare history plotted per asset. Identify recurring patterns, narrative cycles, and when attention peaks typically precede price moves.

  <Card title="Live Rankings" icon="list-ol">
    Assets ranked in real time by current mindshare. The leaderboard updates continuously so you always see what's dominating the conversation right now.

## Tracked Assets

Signals currently tracks the following assets, with more added regularly:

## Understanding the Mindshare Metric

Mindshare measures attention — not price. It quantifies how much an asset is being discussed, referenced, and searched across Crypto Twitter and other tracked sources, then normalises that against the asset's own historical baseline.

* **Rising mindshare** means the asset is capturing more attention than usual — a potential leading indicator before price movement.
* **Falling mindshare** means attention is rotating away, even if price hasn't reacted yet.
* **Flat mindshare with rising price** can signal a move with weak narrative backing — often more fragile.

## How to Use Signals

    Open Signals and scan the ranked list. Note which assets have surged in mindshare rank over the last 24 hours — these are the narratives gaining momentum right now.

  <Step title="Review 30-day history for context">
    Click into any asset to see its 30-day mindshare chart. A current spike is more meaningful if the asset has been quiet for weeks — that contrast signals a genuine narrative ignition.

  <Step title="Look at % change, not just absolute score">
    An asset with 10× its usual mindshare but a low absolute score can be a more actionable signal than a large-cap with slightly elevated attention. Focus on the rate of change.

  <Step title="Cross-reference with price">
    Compare the mindshare trend to price action. When mindshare leads and price hasn't moved yet, you may have an early-entry opportunity.

## Interpreting Mindshare as a Leading Indicator

<Tip>
  Rising mindshare frequently precedes price moves — narratives build before capital flows. When you spot an asset climbing the Signals leaderboard with strong % change but no corresponding price action yet, cross-reference with **PM Markets** to see if prediction market odds are already pricing in a move. A divergence between rising mindshare and flat PM odds can indicate a mispricing worth acting on.

  Mindshare is an attention metric, not a sentiment metric. It tells you *how much* an asset is being discussed, not *whether* the discussion is bullish or bearish. Always pair mindshare data with directional context from the Feed or PM Traders.
