Accessing the Terminal
Open the Sleuth app and navigate to Build → API Terminal. Sign in with your connected wallet or an API key. The Terminal loads your available data feeds, builder canvas, and backtesting environment immediately. From Idea to Listed API in Seven Steps
1
Open the Terminal Builder
Launch the Terminal from within the Sleuth app. Log in with your wallet or API key. You land directly on the builder canvas with all available data feeds preloaded and ready to use.
2
Browse and Select Data Feeds
Explore the full library of on-chain and off-chain intelligence feeds. Filter by category — wallet activity, contract events, prediction market odds, sentiment, and more — then add the feeds your API will consume as inputs.
3
Define Your Logic
Combine your selected sources, apply analysis, and define the input parameters and output format your API will expose. The builder supports composable logic so you can layer multiple feeds and transformations into a single callable endpoint.
4
Test and Validate
Run your API against historical data and live feeds. The Terminal displays accuracy metrics and backtesting results inline so you can iterate before going live. Adjust your logic until the output meets your quality bar.
5
Set Your Pricing
Define a per-call price denominated in SLEUTH. Write a clear description of what your API returns and tag it with relevant categories so buyers can find it. See the pricing guidance section below for how to think about per-call value.
6
Submit for Listing
Submit your API to the Marketplace. Listing requires Tier 3+ contributor status and a minimum of $1,500 aSLEUTH earned through contribution. Once approved, your API goes live and is immediately callable by any user or agent.
7
Earn on Every Call
Every time a user or agent calls your API, you receive 50% of the per-call price automatically. The platform takes the other 50%. There are no minimums, no lock-up periods, and no additional steps — revenue flows as calls come in.
Available Data Sources
The Terminal gives you access to a broad set of live and historical intelligence feeds. Combine them freely to build specialized endpoints.On-Chain Feeds
- Wallet activity and flow tracking
- Smart contract events and state changes
- Cross-chain transfer and bridge flows
- Token movement and accumulation signals
Prediction Market Feeds
- Market odds and probability shifts
- Volume and liquidity data
- Rothera scoring and resolution history
- Position and exposure tracking
CT Sentiment Feeds
- Real-time Crypto Twitter sentiment signals
- Narrative trend detection
- Influencer and smart-money mention tracking
- Sentiment velocity and momentum
Wallet Intelligence
- Wallet profiling and behavioral clustering
- Historical PnL and accuracy scoring
- Whale and smart-money identification
- Cross-protocol activity mapping
Pricing Your API
Set a per-call price that reflects the value your API delivers relative to the effort a buyer would spend sourcing and processing the same information themselves. Signals that justify a higher per-call price:- Your API combines multiple feeds into a single, actionable output
- The underlying logic is non-obvious or took significant effort to validate
- Accuracy metrics from backtesting are demonstrably strong
- The output is time-sensitive — freshness has clear monetary value to the buyer
- Your API surfaces a single, straightforward data point
- The feed it wraps is widely accessible
- You are optimizing for volume over margin
Price in SLEUTH per call. You receive 50% of every call automatically. There is no way to renegotiate the platform split, so build your pricing model around the 50% you keep.
Backtesting and Accuracy Metrics
Before you list, the Terminal lets you validate your API against historical data so you know how it would have performed in the past. What backtesting shows you:- Output accuracy against known historical outcomes
- Signal consistency across different market conditions
- Edge cases where your logic produces unexpected results
- Latency and data availability across the historical window
Listing Requirements
Listing an API requires Tier 3+ contributor status and 2,000 aSLEUTH. This threshold is earned, not purchased — it reflects your standing as a trusted contributor on the platform.
