How the Revenue Model Works
Every API call on the Marketplace generates revenue that splits automatically between the creator and the platform. You keep half of every single call — no lock-up periods, no minimums.Creator Share
50% of every call goes directly to you, the API builder.
Platform Share
50% of every call goes to the Sleuth platform.
API call revenue is paid in SLEUTH. Calls never earn aSLEUTH — revenue and contribution rank are completely separate tracks and are never mixed.
Requirements to List
Capital alone cannot get you listed. The Marketplace requires genuine contribution standing, ensuring that every API in the directory comes from an active, trusted contributor.Standard Listing
- Tier 3 contributor status
- $1,500 aSLEUTH earned from contribution
Top Placement
- Tier 4 contributor status
- $2,000 aSLEUTH earned from contribution
aSLEUTH is earned through intel contribution — submitting signals, predictions, and intelligence that the platform and its users find valuable. It cannot be purchased.
Who Can Buy Your API
Once your API is live, it is immediately callable by any Sleuth user or agent on the platform. There are no separate integration steps for buyers.Human Users
Call your API directly from the Sleuth app or via REST from any external tool or workflow.
Autonomous Agents
Every listed API is automatically accessible via the Sleuth MCP interface — no additional setup required for agent callers.
Revenue vs. Contribution: Two Separate Tracks
It is important to understand that the Marketplace operates on a revenue track, entirely separate from the contribution track that governs aSLEUTH and your Tier standing.
Calling or selling through the Marketplace never raises your Tier or earns aSLEUTH. Building your contribution standing requires active intel work — but once you hit the threshold, you unlock the ability to monetize that expertise through the Marketplace.
