Using the Heatmap
The heatmap is the fastest way to orient yourself when the market is moving.1
Open the Heatmap view
Switch to Heatmap mode using the view toggle in PM Markets. Each cell represents one active market.
2
Read the colour intensity
Brighter cells indicate higher relative volume or larger odds movement in the current window. Dark cells are quiet; bright cells are where the action is.

Finding Mispriced Odds
Prediction markets are efficient, but not always. Mispricings appear when information asymmetry exists between venues or when volume is thin relative to the signal value of an event.1
Compare odds across venues
Use PM Markets to view the same underlying event across multiple platforms. When odds diverge significantly between venues, one side is likely lagging.
2
Watch for volume without odds movement
Heavy buying in one direction that isn’t yet reflected in the displayed odds suggests the market is slow to reprice — a potential edge window.
3
Check open interest vs recent flow
A market with large existing open interest that starts seeing one-directional intraday flow is often undergoing a repricing. Get in before the odds adjust fully.
